Boyne USA Resorts Announces Retirement Of Long Time Executive

Boyne Falls, MI - Arthur Tebo, vice president of government affairs of Boyne USA Resorts announced that after careful consideration, he has decided to retire effective July 9th, 2004. This announcement follows nearly 35 years of dedicated service.

Mr. Tebo, 59, is a significant force in the Michigan resort and tourism industry and is widely recognized by the many organizations working to promote these industries in and around the state. He began his career with Boyne in December of 1966 and gained knowledge of the company's ski, golf, resort lodging and real estate operations by working in various capacities over his tenure. Following his honorable service with the United States Army from 1967 through 1970, he returned to Boyne and has managed operations since 1971. He was general manager of Boyne Highlands Resort from 1974 until 1984 then served as chief operating officer of Boyne USA Inc. from 1984 through 2003. Mr. Tebo has been pivotal to the success of Boyne's resort network, including numerous programs and positive sales growth at Boyne USA Resorts. He was named Vice President of Government Affairs in January of 2003. During his entire tenure, he committed himself to the area of government affairs and has been influential in implementing change for Michigan tourism.

As trusted advisor to countless employees throughout the years, Art Tebo will be deeply missed. Mr. Tebo expressed appreciation for the opportunities given and friendships formed throughout the past 35 years and added, "I hope I was able to make a little difference in someone's life while at Boyne, I know Boyne made a big difference in my life."
