Boyne Falls, MI - Boyne USA Resorts is pleased to announce the organization's commitment to help the hundreds of thousands of victims of Hurricane Katrina. Boyne USA Resorts will match all contributions, dollar for dollar, made to the American Red Cross at its resort and retail locations in Michigan and Montana. Monetary collection boxes will be placed in the areas listed below and donations will be accepted in the forms of cash and check. Checks may be made directly to American Red Cross and donors requiring a receipt are asked to please make their contribution directly to the American Red Cross by calling 800-HELP NOW or visiting www.redcross.org. Boyne USA Resorts will proudly match up to $10,000 of the monies collected at these locations through September 30th, 2005. Beginning Sunday, September 4th, donations may be made at the following locations:
Boyne USA Resorts' Team Boyne Committee has organized efforts to collect donated goods from the organization's employees and area residents. As a community service-oriented group made up of staff members from various departments within Boyne's resort operations, these representatives have dedicated themselves to this project of collection followed by a direct delivery to one of the hundreds of shelters throughout Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. Items such as bottled water, non-perishable food, toiletries, blankets, clothing and general comfort aides will be accepted. Drop-off locations include Boyne Highlands Resort, The Inn at Bay Harbor and Boyne Mountain.
