Boyne Highlands Resort

Everett Kircher purchased Boyne Highlands in 1964. Resembling the mountainous regions of Scotland, Boyne Highlands is located in the northwest lower peninsula of Michigan in Emmet County, about 280 miles north of Detroit and eight miles north of Petoskey in Harbor Springs. To complement the popular ski resort, Kircher made Boyne Highlands home to his first 18-hole golf course, The Heather - designed by Robert Trent Jones. Positioned and commonly referred to as the "Pinehurst of the North", Boyne Highlands offers the finest in golf and snowsports facilities. A variety of accommodations, numerous dining options, meeting facilities, massage and wellness services and real estate opportunities paired with four nationally ranked golf courses and an expanse of terrain for unlimited winter recreation afford families, groups and property owners alike the true pleasures of resort lifestyle.
