IT Systems Security Incident

BOYNE FALLS, Michigan (November 20, 2020) – Boyne Resorts became aware on October 18, 2020 of a potential security threat impacting some of our information technology (IT) systems. In response, we immediately took our systems offline, initiated an investigation, engaged a third-party cybersecurity firm to assist with our response and notified law enforcement. Our IT team began working tirelessly to restore the company’s enterprise and resort-based systems affected by the incident. Much progress has been made in getting the affected systems and services safely back online across the resort network.

Our investigation into what caused the security threat is now complete. Our efforts defined the scope of the attack and found no evidence of customer data being exposed or at risk. To allow each of our locations to return to normal operations as quickly as possible, our IT team and partners remain active in their work to get our systems fully restored and further enhance the security of our systems.
